I decided I might try and start updating this again on a regular basis. We'll see how it goes. Nothing fancy; perhaps I'll just write down my thoughts, perhaps I'll focus on writing as an art form, and maybe I'll talk about nerdy stuff. It's my blog, and although I publish it to the Internet and allow others to read it (I can't imagine it can be THAT interesting to the average joe, heh), it's all about me.
Job
I just started a new job last week. I love it. I'm now on-site tech support at one of the largest AT&T call centers there is. Technically I'm contracted through IBM (as usual), but I do love this job. It's tech, which of course is one of my strongest skill-sets, and the facility I work at is sorta awesome. It's sort of like a scaled down google, offering everything from a little movie cinema to a quiet room. Evidently they are attempting to alleviate the high stress levels of providing iphone/itunes tech support to frustrated customers. They really do seem to take great care of their employees. For a nerd, working here is akin to Disney World. At least for me. I love it here. I provide support for several hundred people, and unfortunately my contract stipulations and confidentiality agreement forbid me from saying more. Suffice to say, I love my job and I hope the contract lasts as long as possible. :-)
